Peter Silberstein is a seasoned physician with extensive experience in oncology, currently serving as Chief of Oncology at Alegent Creighton Health and as a physician at the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs since 2008. Since 2002, Peter Silberstein has also held the position of Professor at Creighton University. Previous leadership roles include President of the American Veterans Hematology Oncology (AVAHO) from 2012 to 2013, and a long tenure at Mercy Medical Center – North Iowa from 1985 to 2002. Peter Silberstein's educational background includes a Doctor of Medicine degree from the University at Buffalo, a Fellowship in Medical Oncology from the University of Minnesota, and residency training in internal medicine at the University of Iowa, complemented by dual Bachelor's degrees in Biophysics and another discipline from Amherst College.
