Kevin Black has a diverse work experience. Kevin began their career as an Intern for Senator Kent Conrad in the United States Senate in 2008. In 2009, they worked as an Industrial Engineering Intern at Boston Scientific. Kevin then became the Student Body President at North Dakota State University from 2010 to 2011. Kevin joined Champion Technologies in 2011 as a Sales Engineer. Kevin then moved to Baker Hughes in 2012 where they served as an Account Manager until 2014. In 2014, Kevin became the Chief Executive Officer at Creedence Energy Services, LLC.

Kevin Black attended North Dakota State University from 2006 to 2010, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Industrial Engineering and Management.
