Maggie Conklin, Ed.D. has a diverse work experience in higher education consulting and university administration. Maggie is currently the Director of Extraordinary Talent at Credo - Higher Education Consulting, where they have been working since April 2022. Prior to this role, they served as a Consultant and Project Manager at the same company from 2018 to 2022. Before joining Credo, Maggie worked at The University of North Carolina at Greensboro (UNCG) as an Assistant Director and Coordinator from 2012 to 2018. Maggie also has experience as a Residence Coordinator at the University of Dayton from 2010 to 2012 and as a Residence Director at Brown University for a brief period in 2011. Additionally, they worked as a Graduate Intern for Higher Education Entrepreneurship at the Kauffman Foundation and as an Event Planner at The Drake Hotel, Hilton Worldwide. Maggie started their career in the field of higher education as a Resident Assistant at the Office of Residence Life and New Student Programs.

Maggie Conklin, Ed.D. holds a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in History and Leadership Management from Miami University, which they obtained from 2003 to 2008. Maggie furthered their education and earned a Master of Science (M.S.) degree in Higher Education Administration from the University of Dayton between 2010 and 2012. Recently, they completed their Ed.D. in Organizational Change and Leadership from the University of Southern California, studying from 2019 to 2021.

In addition to their academic qualifications, Maggie Conklin has obtained several certifications. In March 2015, they completed Green Zone Training at UNCG Veterans Resource Center. Along with this, they obtained a Career Specialist certification from UNCG Career Services in December 2013. Maggie also holds an I-Care Suicide Prevention Certification from UNCG Wellness Center, achieved in August 2012, and an LGTBQ Safe Zone certification from UNCG Office of Multicultural Affairs, earned in April 2012.
