Suramya Rathnayake has extensive experience in the financial services sector, currently serving as Vice President at Credit Suisse since May 2011, where leadership of the Global compliance engine and Market data team for APAC markets is a key responsibility, involving team management, requirement prioritization, stakeholder management, and roadmap development. Previously, Suramya held the role of Assistant Vice President at Credit Suisse, successfully managing a team in Pune, India, focused on compliance engine development and remote team management. Prior experience includes serving as Associate Tech Lead at DirectFN, where development for Middle East and North African order management systems was a primary function, and a trainee position at Valista International Lanka Pvt Ltd, where integration work for major clients was completed. Suramya holds a Master of Science in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the National University of Singapore and a Bachelor of Science in Computer Engineering from the University of Moratuwa.
