Umesh Kumbhar is an accomplished software engineering leader with extensive experience in software development and engineering management. Currently serving as a Principal Software Engineer at Credit Acceptance since October 2023, Umesh previously held the position of Engineering Manager at Acceldata, where the focus was on developing a Compute Observability solution for Databricks and Snowflake. Umesh's significant tenure at Symantec spanned from 2005 to 2021, during which time roles included Senior Principal Software Engineer and Big Data Developer, contributing to scalable platforms like Jetstream and designing cloud-based solutions for vulnerability assessments. Umesh possesses strong technical expertise in Java, Spring Framework, Spring Boot, and Couchbase, supported by an M.S. in Software Systems from Birla Institute of Technology and Science, Pilani, and a Bachelor of Engineering in Computer Science from Shivaji University, Kolhapur.
