May Lu is an accomplished educator and leader in science communication with extensive experience in the field of education. Currently serving as a Founding Board Member at Create Science since 2021, May Lu has also held significant roles such as Content and Curriculum Lead at Nelson and Science Communication Associate at BioRender. Previous positions include Grade 10 Learning Coordinator and Senior School Science Teacher at Ashbury College, as well as various teaching roles in mathematics and science across multiple institutions, including St. Andrew's College and the Durham District School Board. May Lu's educational background includes a Master of Teaching from the Ontario Institute for Studies in Education of the University of Toronto, focusing on Intermediate/Senior Biology and Mathematics, and a Bachelor of Science Honours with Distinctions in Life Sciences from Queen's University.
