Matthew Swanson has a diverse work experience in engineering and technology roles. Matthew currently works as an Engineer at Creare since 2022. Prior to that, they worked at Information Technology Services - Syracuse University as a MakerSpace Technician from 2018 to 2022, where they operated various technology devices and provided guidance to students. In 2021, Matthew participated in the Invent@SU program at Syracuse University, where they collaborated with a team to design, prototype, and pitch an idea. In 2019, they worked as an Undergraduate Student Researcher at Syracuse University, where they co-authored a published paper and built a testbed for future research.

Matthew Swanson attended Syracuse University College of Engineering and Computer Science from 2018 to 2022, where they earned a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering. Matthew also attended Syracuse University during the same period and obtained a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering.
