Danny Moore has a diverse background in engineering and research. Danny is currently employed at Creare as an Engineer since September 2020. Prior to that, from January 2016 to September 2020, they worked as a Graduate Research Assistant at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute. In this role, they focused on designing and developing wind tunnel experiments using non-invasive techniques, analyzing image data from the PIV system, and publishing papers and presentations. From September 2012 to June 2015, Danny worked as a Mechanical Engineer at SOH Wind Engineering LLC, where they conducted structural testing using various measurements systems. In the fall of 2013, they briefly worked at Svend Ole Hansen ApS in Copenhagen as a Mechanical Engineer, primarily focusing on wind tunnel testing processes and aeroelastic instabilities.

Danny Moore earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Vermont between 2009 and 2013. Subsequently, they pursued further education and obtained a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Mechanical Engineering from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute from 2016 to 2020.
