Jonathan Masson has worked in the optical engineering field since 2012. Jonathan began their career as an R&D Optical Engineer at Lemoptix SA in 2012. In 2015, they joined Intel Corporation as an Optical Engineer. Jonathan has been the Director of Optical Engineering at CREAL since 2019.

Jonathan Masson obtained a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Optical MEMS from EPFL (École polytechnique fédérale de Lausanne) between 2008 and 2012. Prior to that, they completed a M.A.Sc. in Engineering Physics from Polytechnique Montréal between 2006 and 2008. Jonathan also obtained a B. Ing in Génie physique from Polytechnique Montréal between 2001 and 2006.
