Thabit Abdul Galia is a seasoned banking professional currently serving as the Business Manager for Islamic Banking at CRDB Bank Plc since November 2021. In this role, Thabit focuses on driving business growth by promoting and selling Islamic Banking products and services while collaborating with Relationship Managers across branches to cultivate profitable customer relationships. Prior to CRDB Bank, Thabit held various positions at Amana Bank Limited from January 2014 to November 2021, including Relationship Manager for the USAID Development Finance Corporation credit guarantee scheme, where Thabit was the primary liaison between Amana Bank and USAID Tanzania, as well as managing corporate and SME banking relationships. Thabit began the banking career as a Relationship Officer for consumer finance and was involved as a Research Assistant at WCSTanzania in 2013. Thabit earned a Bachelor of Science degree in wildlife science and conservation from the University of Dar es Salaam between 2010 and 2013.
