Darin Layman currently serves as Sheriff at Crawford County Sheriff's Office since January 2017, following the role of Chief Deputy at Crawford County Missouri Sheriff's Department from October 2014 to December 2016. Prior to these positions, Darin Layman worked as a Financial Advisor at Layman Family Financial and also held a part-time position as a registered administrative assistant. Darin Layman's law enforcement career includes service as Chief Deputy at Crawford County Missouri Sheriff's Department, Detective/Corporal at Sullivan Police Department, and Officer at Lee's Summit Police Department. Darin Layman is also a veteran of the United States Marine Corps, serving as a Corporal with a specialization in machine guns. Education was completed at Cuba High School from 1987 to 1991.
