Michael P. has over 26 years of experience in law enforcement, currently serving as Administrative Lieutenant-Assistant Patrol Commander at Cranston Police Department. Previous roles include Patrol Lieutenant, Detective Sergeant in both the Criminal Investigations Unit and Bureau of Criminal Identification, and Patrol Officer. In addition to law enforcement, Michael P. is a faculty member at New England Institute of Technology, teaching Criminal Justice with a focus on Crime Scene Investigation/Criminalistics, and serves as a Skills USA advisor/coach. Furthermore, Michael P. has held the position of Lead Instructor for Basic Crime Scene Investigation at the RI Municipal Police Academy, where responsibilities include restructuring and instructing the Criminalistics program for police recruits statewide. Michael P. holds a Master’s of Science in Investigations with a concentration in Criminal Investigations from the University of New Haven and a Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice and Corrections from Roger Williams University.
