Karen Lakkides has extensive experience in education and research, currently serving as a Substitute Teacher at The Roeper School, Huron Valley Schools, and Cranbrook Educational Community since 2016 and 2014, respectively. Previous roles include Receptionist/Office Clerk at Milford Dance Academy from 2010 to 2013 and various research positions at the University of Michigan and Michigan State University, specializing in diabetic neuropathy and metabolic diseases. Karen Lakkides holds a Master of Science in Biochemistry from Michigan State University and a Bachelor of Arts in Biology from Kalamazoo College.
