Software Development Engineer II at Craftsmen

Md. Minul Islam Shovon has a work experience spanning from 2019 to the present. In 2019, they worked as a Software Engineer Intern and Full Stack Software Developer at SELISE rockin’ software. During this time, they acquired industry knowledge, gained proficiency in various tools and frameworks, and designed and built an online MCQ test application. Md. Minul Islam also received mentorship from experienced professionals and enjoyed a positive company culture.

In 2020, Shovon joined Enalo as a Software Engineer Intern and Full Stack Django Developer. Md. Minul Islam worked remotely and had hands-on experience with real-life projects. Md. Minul Islam utilized technologies such as Django, Django Rest Framework, VanillaJs, ReactJs, and AWS. Md. Minul Islam built and deployed multiple backend APIs, designed user-friendly web applications, and collaborated with teammates.

Currently, Shovon is employed at Craftsmen as a Software Development Engineer. Md. Minul Islam started as a Software Development Engineer I in April 2021 and was later promoted to Software Development Engineer II in January 2023. Further details about their role at Craftsmen are not provided.

Md. Minul Islam Shovon completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering (ECE) from Rajshahi University of Engineering & Technology. Md. Minul Islam attended the university from 2016 to 2022. Prior to that, they obtained their Higher Secondary Certificate in Science from Govt. Bangabandhu College, where they studied from 2013 to 2015.

In addition to their formal education, Shovon has obtained several certifications. These include a CSS Certificate and a JavaScript (Basic) Certificate from HackerRank, which they obtained in October 2021. Md. Minul Islam also completed assessments for skills such as ReactJs (Basic), Python (Intermediate), Rest API (Intermediate), and Python (Basic) in various months of 2020. Shovon also holds a certificate for a paper presentation at the IEEE Region 10 Symposium (TENSYMP) 2020.

Shovon has completed several online courses and certifications as well. Md. Minul Islam completed a Crash Course on Python from Coursera, Introduction to Git and GitHub course, and various data science-related certifications from Kaggle. These include Data Visualization, Intermediate Machine Learning, Pandas, and Intro to Machine Learning, obtained between January 2020 and May 2020.
