Skip Gerard has a strong background in engineering and management. In 1987, they worked as a Design Engineer at Krofta Engineering, where they designed water filtration systems and traveled to various locations for site engineering. Skip also implemented Finite Element Analysis and trained engineering department personnel. In 1991, Gerard joined Craftech Industries, Inc. as a Senior Engineering Manager and Mold Designer. Skip designed injection molds, established a moldmaking department, and gained expertise in CNC machining, CAD/CAM, moldflow analysis, EDM, grinding, and other contemporary processes. Gerard also represented Craftech at international trade exhibitions. Eventually, they became President of the company, leading the qualification for ISO 9001-2015 and implementing ERP systems. Skip'snext goal is to qualify for AS9100 certification.

Skip Gerard attended Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute from 1986 to 1988, where they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering.
