Julien Gooris, PhD, is a seasoned expert in data science and artificial intelligence, currently serving as the Head of Data Science at Craft ai since January 2020. In this role, Julien leads a high-performance team to develop AI-driven products focused on energy, health, and greentech systems. Julien also acts as a Data & AI advisor for KAP and previously held the position of Lead Data Scientist at Ween, where Julien specialized in IoT and smart home solutions. With experience as a Lead Data Scientist at TheGreenData and an Econometrician at Microeconomix, Julien has contributed to various sectors including supply-chain and banking, alongside extensive academic research and publications. Julien holds a PhD in Economics and Statistics from Université libre de Bruxelles, complemented by research experiences at institutions such as Duke University and INSEAD.
