James Beier

Site Reliability Engineer at C&R Software

James Beier has a diverse work experience starting from 2002. James worked as a Tech Assistant for NSU Middle Laboratory School Summer Treks from 2002 to 2004 and as a Tech Assistant for Computing Services, LSMSA from 2005 to 2007. James then served as a Summer School Teaching Assistant at the Louisiana School for Math, Science, and the Arts in 2008. In the same year, they worked as an Assistant Computer Technician at the Center for Biological Timing, University of Virginia. From 2009 to 2011, they worked as an Administrative Assistant at the University of Virginia.

In 2011, James became a Support Analyst at CR Software LLC, providing tier-1 support to proprietary software applications and performing application analysis and troubleshooting for various client systems. James also wrote tutorial and knowledge base articles for clients.

In 2012, they joined FICO as an Engineer I, responsible for tier-2 application support, software analysis, troubleshooting, and consulting. James remained in this role until 2015, when they were promoted to Engineer II. James'sduties expanded to include light non-critical development, integration guidelines, and performance tuning. James continued to excel in this position until October 2022.

Currently, James Beier is employed at C&R Software, where they started as a Product Support Lead Engineer in July 2021. In April 2023, they were promoted to the role of Technical Duty Officer.

James Beier completed their Bachelor of Arts degree in Middle Eastern Studies and Religious Studies from the University of Virginia, where they attended from 2007 to 2011. Additionally, they spent some time at Yarmouk University from an unknown start year to 2010, although it is unclear if they obtained a degree or pursued a specific field of study.
