Ellyn Ferguson is an experienced reporter with a focus on appropriations and budget reporting for CQ Roll Call since 2009, where responsibilities include tracking federal spending bills, interviewing key legislators, and producing enterprise news stories. Previously, Ferguson served as an Agriculture Reporter and Wisconsin Regional Reporter for Gannett News Service from 2007 to 2009, providing coverage of federal and congressional news across multiple newspapers in Wisconsin. With a long tenure at Gannett News Service from 1989 to 2009 as a Regional Reporter, Ferguson offered daily coverage in various states. Additional experience includes a general assignment role at Gannett Westchester Rockland Newspapers and reporting on local government and health issues at the Miami Herald from 1982 to 1987. Ellyn Ferguson holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Journalism with a minor in Business from the University of Florida.
