Mark Zalewski has extensive work experience in maintenance and management roles. Mark started their career at Anderson Shumaker Company in 1996, where they served as Chief Stationary Engineer and Maintenance Manager. In this role, they oversaw operations, maintenance, and repairs of building systems and equipment. Mark also managed facility and grounds maintenance projects.
Later, they worked at Ann & Robert H. Lurie Children's Hospital of Chicago as a Stationary Engineer. Mark Zalewski attended Triton College from 1993 to 1996, where they obtained an Associate's Degree in Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning, and Refrigeration Engineering. In 1995, they obtained a Universal Refrigeration card from the E.P.A. The following year, in July 1997, Mark obtained a Stationary Engineer's License from the City of Chicago. Additionally, Mark has certifications as a forklift Instructor for Class I, II, III, IV, and V from Hyster.
