Shweta Basu is a seasoned professional in sustainability and corporate engagements, currently serving as the Manager of Corporate Engagements & Partnerships at CDP since June 2023. Previously, Shweta held the position of General Manager for Sustainability Advisory at Terraform ESG from March to June 2023 and was the Head of Sustainability at PRO India from December 2021 to March 2023. Shweta’s experience includes overseeing environmental and social sustainability assessments at Mahucon Builders as an Assistant Manager and conducting research on bioconversion processes at NUI Galway as a Research Scientist. Early in the career, Shweta completed internships at EMPOWERTRANS and ABB, focusing on power system design and engineering. Shweta holds a Master of Science in Sustainable Resource Management from the University of Galway and a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from Siksha 'O' Anusandhan University. Additional training was completed in the Bio Based Economy at Ghent Bio-Based Economy Summer School.
