Unnikrishnan Udinoor has held various software engineering roles since 2000. Unnikrishnan began their career at bigtec Private Limited as a Software Engineer, where they worked on the Clinical Trial Database Management System. In 2003, they moved to Wipro Technologies and worked on the server side development of the Element Management System. In 2006, they joined Brocade Communications Systems, Inc. as a Staff Software Engineer. In 2012, they joined Cisco Systems as a Senior Software Engineer. In 2013, Unnikrishnan Udinoor moved to cPacket Networks, where they held roles as both a Senior Software Engineer and a Principal Engineer.

Unnikrishnan Udinoor began their educational journey at Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya Periye from 1988 to 1995. Unnikrishnan then attended Nehru Arts and Science College from 1995 to 1998, where they earned a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics and Statistics. Following that, they attended Manipal Institute of Technology from 1998 to 2001, where they obtained an MCA in Computer Science. Finally, they attended San Jose State University from 2008 to 2011, where they earned an MS in Software Engineering.
