Patrick Mansfield has worked as a Software Engineer for three companies: IBM (1995-2008), Sony Computer Entertainment America LLC (2008-2018), and cPacket Networks (2018-present). At IBM, their role included various software development projects such as supporting the open source newlib C library for use on the CELL processor, work on the open-iscsi driver, supported the qlogic fibre channel linux driver, and various linux kernel scsi and linux work in general. At Sony Computer Entertainment America LLC, they worked as a Software Engineer. At cPacket Networks, they currently work as a Software Engineer.

Patrick Mansfield obtained a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Computer Science from UC San Diego between 1984 and 1988.
