Justin Pensock began their professional career in 2015 as a Systems Test Intern at IBM. In 2016, they joined Cisco as a Software Engineer Intern in their Network Virtualization group, where they built test environment infrastructure for the Nexus 1000V Switch. In 2017, they moved to cPacket Networks as an FPGA Technical Lead and Software Engineer. In their role, they were responsible for technical leadership and guidance, distributing and managing design tasks, logic development, cross-functional collaboration, feature/release planning, recruiting, onboarding, and mentoring. Additionally, they were involved in all aspects of the design flow, planned and developed new features, was responsible for hardware system design components and integration, and acted as a point of contact for customer support escalations.

Justin Pensock graduated from Rice University in 2017 with a Bachelor of Science in Computer Engineering. Justin attended Rice University from 2013 to 2017.
