Prior to this role, Simone held various leadership positions within the CPA and CGA organizations, overseeing education programs, standards, and assessments. Experience also includes teaching intermediate financial accounting at Acsenda School of Management and handling financial reporting as Controller at Canadian Securities Registration Systems Ltd. Simone's educational background includes an MBA from Simon Fraser University and a CPA designation from CPA Canada, complemented by a Bachelor of Commerce from Laurentian University.
