Mike Randall

Chief Operating Officer at CP Technologies

Mike Randall has a diverse work experience in the medical technology industry. Mike started their career at Baxter Healthcare in 1995 as an Engineering Research and Development professional. Mike then moved to Edwards Lifesciences in 1998, where they served as a Senior Engineer in Research and Development, leading projects related to stent delivery systems and guide catheter technology transfer.

In 2006, Mike joined BD as the Director of Research and Development. Mike held various leadership roles within the company, including leading the Front End Innovation team and overseeing multiple R&D teams responsible for Vena Cava Filters, CTO, and BX Stent Franchises.

In 2019, Mike joined Ethicon, Inc. as the Senior Director of Research and Development. Here, they managed the Energy handheld surgical ABP/Harmonic devices, Development Engineering and Modeling & Simulation teams. Mike also led the platform portfolio management process and managed a team of 65 engineers and managers with a yearly budget over $5 million.

In 2023, Mike became the Chief Operating Officer at CP Technologies, where they currently hold the position.

Mike Randall holds a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Mechanical Engineering from UC Irvine. Mike also has obtained an MBA in Global Management from the Thunderbird School of Global Management. Additionally, they have completed the BioDesign Executive Education program at Stanford University in Palo Alto, CA.
