Sean Sweeney has over 25 years of experience in the audiovisual, broadcast, and production industries. Sean began their career in 1993, working various food and beverage positions at the Goldie and Louis Trilling House. In 1997, they interned at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (M.I.T). From 2000 to 2008, they held various positions at PSAV, including Director of Event Technology for El Conquistador Golf Resort and Casino, Caribe Hilton Hotel San Juan, Marriott Frenchman's Reef Resort, and Sheraton Burlington Hotel. In 2008, they were a Committee Member for the National Association of Catering Executives (NACE), assisting with website development and enrollment of over 1000 members in the New York City area. From 2008 to 2013, they were the Director of Event Technology at Omni Hotels - Freeman/Encore, where they won Best Sales Management for Individual Account and Best Sales Management Southeast Region in 2016. From 2016 to 2017, they were the Domestic and International Sales Executive at Creative Retail Group, Inc., creating distribution channels between Asia and Latin America markets for retail products and video/photo accessories. Most recently, they have been an Account Executive at CP Communications since 2017, focusing on sales (hunter) opportunities and B4B solutions within TV/Broadcast studios, Mobile Video Production Units, RF Video, and RF Audio event and installations.
Sean Sweeney attended Massasoit Community College from 1997 to 2000 where they earned a degree in Communications (TV and Radio) with a field of study in Mass Media Communications. From 2007 to 2008, they attended Walden University for Professional/Career Development with a field of study in Business Management. From 2011 to 2012, they participated in various coursework at the American Hotel and Lodging Educational Institute in Hospitality Management, Rooms Division, and Food and Beverage Operations.
