Sara Ashman Smith, CTFA, CFIRS, currently serves as Chief of Staff at Cox Consulting Network since January 2023. Prior to this role, Sara was a Compliance Officer at Dimensional Fund Advisors and Manager of Risk and Compliance at Midland Wealth Management, where responsibilities included developing risk and compliance programs. As Chief Operating Officer and Vice President of Risk and Compliance at ATG Trust Company, Sara was instrumental in the company's sale to Midland Trust and managed due diligence during the acquisition. With a wealth of experience as President and Principal Consultant at Campfyre Consulting, Sara has provided expertise in trust and compliance for various financial institutions. Sara began their career at ATG Trust Company, progressing through several roles, including Director of Exchange Services and Trust Administrator. Sara holds a Bachelor of Science in Marketing from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign.
