Liam Williams has extensive work experience in engineering, specializing in civil and structural engineering design projects. Liam currently holds the position of Principal Engineer at COWI since March 2021. Prior to this, from 2014 to 2021, they worked at JNP Group where they served as a Principal Engineer, contributing to the expansion of the JNP Rail Team in Sheffield and implementing railway systems and processes according to Network Rail requirements. At JNP Group, they also held roles as a Senior Engineer and Engineer, where they were responsible for project management, design submissions, site surveys, and gaining approval for schemes. Liam Williams completed their education with a MEng (Hons) degree in Civil and Structural Engineering from the University of Liverpool from 2007 to 2011. Prior to that, they obtained their A-Levels in Physics, Maths, and Electronics from Yale College, Wrexham, between 2005 and 2007. Liam began their education at Lakelands School, Sports and Language College, where they completed their GCSEs in English, Maths, Science, Geography, IT, Art, and French from 1999 to 2005.
