Jose Cepeda is a Senior Geotechnical Engineer at COWI since January 2022, with extensive experience in geotechnical engineering and academia. Previously, Jose held positions as a Senior Lecturer at the University of Oslo and a Senior Geotechnical Engineer at DMR Miljø og Geoteknikk AS. Jose served as an Associate Professor of Geotechnics at OsloMet and UiT - The Arctic University of Norway, and was a Work Package Leader at the Norwegian Geotechnical Institute, focusing on landslide risk assessments. Jose's academic roles included teaching advanced courses in Geomechanics and Landslides at the University of Oslo. Jose holds a Ph.D. in Geosciences from the University of Oslo, along with multiple Master's degrees in Soil Mechanics and Geotechnical Engineering from Imperial College London, and an Engineer's Degree in Civil Engineering from Universidad Centroamericana 'José Simeón Cañas'.
