William P. Smith has extensive experience in the insurance industry, currently serving as the Independent Insurance Agency Owner at CoWest Insurance Group DTC since August 1994, which offers a comprehensive range of insurance solutions for businesses and families across Colorado. In addition, Smith has been the General Manager at Cowest Insurance-DTC since June 2009, focusing on insurance education. Previous roles include serving as an Official for high school and youth lacrosse in Colorado from March 2011 to February 2016, as an Insurance Consultant at Colorado Workers' Compensation Network from September 2003 to July 2009 specializing in commercial insurance, and as a Business Development Manager at Gevity HR from September 2001 to September 2003. Smith's educational background includes a BA in Political Science & History from the University of Denver and the Certified Insurance Counselor designation from the Society of Certified Insurance Counselors.
