Charles Van Haverbeke has a diverse work experience that spans across various industries. Charles currently holds the position of COO at Cowboy, a company specializing in electric bikes. Prior to that, they served as the VP Sales, Operations & People at the same company. Charles also held the role of VP Sales & Operations at Cowboy.

In 2018, Charles worked as an author for Follow The Coast, where they documented their travels along the coast of Europe in visual travel guides.

Before joining Cowboy, Charles worked at Uber as the Country Management UberEats - Belgium and Launch Manager - UK Expansion. Charles also served as the Sales & Marketing Manager for the launch of UberEats Brussels.

Charles began their career at Deloitte, where they worked as a Strategy Consultant - Digital Markets and Business Analyst - Strategy & Operations. Charles also worked as a freelance consultant for Noah Water Solutions, developing a business plan for a water purification technology.

From 2001 to 2006, Charles attended Sint Barbara Jezuit College, where they studied Science and Mathematics.

From 2006 to 2011, they pursued their Master of Engineering (Burgerlijk Ingenieur) degree in Mechanics, Management & Manufacturing at KU Leuven.

During the academic year 2010-2011, Charles also pursued a Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering at Universidad de Sevilla.
