John Panter has a diverse work history. John started their career as a Dispatcher at Time Warner Cable in 2006 and eventually moved up to become a National Division Health & Safety Committee Member. In 2008, they became a NOC Tech Level 1 at Time Warner Cable, where they monitored and managed network elements to minimize customer impact. In 2010, they transitioned to the role of RNOC Coordinator, where they provided support for the West Region Network Operation Center. John then became an RNOC Duty Manager, responsible for overseeing communications and escalation of events in the RNOC. From 2011 to 2012, they worked as an Analyst in the Network Control Center at Time Warner Cable, coordinating communications during incidents. From 2012 to 2013, they served as a NOC Supervisor, supervising day-to-day activities in the Global Network Operations Center. In 2013, they joined Worldpay as an IT Operations Manager, responsible for managing the IT NOC team and credit card processing environments. In 2018, they briefly worked as a Senior Manager of Customer Operations at Zayo Group before joining Covius as the Director of Network & VDI Engineering in 2023. At Covius, they have held roles such as Manager of Network Operations and Manager of Systems Administration. Throughout their career, John has demonstrated leadership and expertise in network and IT operations.
John Panter attended various educational institutions throughout their academic history. In 2009, they enrolled at Red Rocks Community College to pursue studies in Cisco Networking Academy. In 2006, John also attended Red Rocks Community College to explore the field of Emergency Medical Technician (EMT-B). From 2004 to 2005, they pursued General Education at Community College of Denver. Starting in 2001 and ending in 2005, John attended CEC Middle College of Denver, where they studied a diverse range of subjects such as Fire Sciences, Culinary Arts, Business Management, and Commercial Art.
