Robert Little has a diverse work experience in the mining and construction industry. Robert has worked as a Director of Industrial S&OP at Covia, where they implemented and led a SIOP transformation in their Specialty Business Unit. Robert also served as a Plant Manager at Covia's Tuscaloosa Sand and Gravel Mine, where they successfully modernized operations and introduced safety measures. Prior to that, they were a Mine Manager at E.R. Jahna Industries, overseeing their flagship mine and managing a major refurbishment project. Robert also worked as a Plant Engineer at Granite Construction, where they led planning for a plant relocation. Additionally, Robert has experience as a Principal at Little Consultants, providing financial analysis and operational improvements for clients. Robert has also worked as a Graduate Assistant at the University of Richmond and a Financial Analyst Intern at Hecla Mining. Robert'searlier roles include being a Senior Mine Engineer at Romarco Minerals and a Mining Engineer and Ops Supervisor at Rio Tinto's Bingham Canyon Mine.
Robert Little completed their education history with a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from the University of Richmond's Robins School of Business from 2012 to 2014. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Mining Engineering from Virginia Tech between 2002 and 2007. During their undergraduate studies, they also briefly studied Mining Engineering at Delft University of Technology in 2006. Additionally, Robert holds certifications, including a Lean/Six Sigma Green Belt from Rio Tinto and an Engineer-In-Training certification from the State of VA.
