Hua Han has extensive experience in materials science and engineering, currently serving as the Application Development Manager at Covia since 2023. Prior to this role, Hua worked at Newell Brands as a Principal Material Engineer from 2018 to 2023, focusing on material selections, processing evaluations, and compliance with regulatory standards. Hua's previous positions include Sr. Principal Scientist at Reynolds/Pactiv LLC, where responsibilities encompassed company-wide material developments, and Technical Leader/Chemist at JRB Personnel LLC/Duro-Last Roofing/Plastatech, overseeing R&D projects and product development. Additional experience includes a postdoctoral research position at the University of Michigan School of Dentistry specializing in antimicrobial materials and research assistant roles at the University of Windsor. Hua Han holds a Ph.D. in Organometallic/Inorganic Chemistry from the University of Michigan, a Master of Science in Physical Chemistry from Nankai University, and a Bachelor of Science in Applied Chemistry from Tianjin University.
