Dr.Ing. Marco Mattos is an accomplished professional in the field of chemical engineering with extensive experience across various roles in notable companies. Currently serving as Lead Internal Auditor and Senior Production Engineer at Covestro since November 2017, Marco has also held positions such as Maintenance Leader and Project Engineer at Michelman Inc, and Consultant at DuPont Sustainable Solutions, where work focused on Process Safety Management and Environmental Management. Prior experience includes roles as Technical Consultant at Provis GmbH und KoKG, and Process Engineer at both Degussa AG and DuPont, specializing in production processes and quality systems. Marco holds a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Chemical Engineering from the University of Bremen and has earned both a Master's and Bachelor's degree in the same field from UFSCar and Universidade Estadual de Maringá, respectively.
