Clay Bare is an experienced engineering professional with a strong background in maintenance, process control, and project management within the petrochemical industry. Currently serving as Maintenance Engineering Manager at Covestro since April 2012, Clay has held various roles including Project Manager and Process Automation Lead. Previously, Clay worked at LyondellBasell from August 1997 to April 2012, where responsibilities included managing maintenance and advancements in process control systems, overseeing engineering teams, and contributing to best practice teams for propylene oxide and energy optimization. Clay's career also includes experience as a Process Engineer at Ashland Petroleum Company, focusing on capital projects in refining and petrochemicals. Clay holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemical Engineering from Tennessee Technological University.
