Susie Nygard, CPHR, is an experienced human resources professional with a diverse background spanning over a decade. Currently serving as the Manager of Employee Services at Covenant House Vancouver since September 2021, Susie has also held the role of Acting Director, People & Culture. Prior to this, Susie worked at Shylo Nursing And Home Healthcare, where significant contributions during the COVID-19 pandemic included managing HR and payroll issues, developing protocols, and ensuring the safety of staff and clients. Susie's earlier roles at ICBC, Coast Mental Health, City of North Vancouver, Weight Watchers, and TELUS highlight a strong foundation in HR coordination, training, and employee relations. Susie holds a Certificate in HR Management from Simon Fraser University and a Bachelor's degree in Psychology from The University of British Columbia.
