Deb Lester is a seasoned healthcare executive currently serving as the Chief Executive Officer at Covenant House Vancouver since June 2023. In addition to this role, Deb is an Adjunct Professor at The University of British Columbia and a Sessional Lecturer at the University of Victoria. Previously, Deb held the position of Director of Health Services at the Canadian Red Cross until June 2023 and was the CEO and Founder of Salish Global from February 2018 to September 2020. Deb's extensive experience includes serving as Associate Chief Nurse/Patient Care at Seattle Children's and a range of roles at Adara Group, where Deb worked as CEO & Senior Advisor in Global Health for nearly two decades. Academic achievements include a Master of Business Administration in Health Care Administration from Western Governors University and a Bachelor of Science from California State University-Dominguez Hills, complemented by advanced education in Neonatal Health Sciences from the British Columbia Institute of Technology.
