Ryan Sherrett has held various positions in the tech industry since 1997. Their first role was as Tech Support/Helpdesk for Freeway Inc, which was acquired by Voyager and later by CoreComm. Ryan then became the Tech Support Manager at Freeway prior to its acquisition. In 2001, they moved to Ensure Technologies as a Product Manager. In 2013, they joined Covenant Eyes as Software Development Manager, Project Manager, and Product Development Manager.

Ryan Sherrett began their educational journey in 1990 when they attended Genesee Christian High School until 1993. Ryan then went on to William Tyndale College from 1993 to 1994, studying Liberal Arts and Sciences, General Studies and Humanities. From 1995 to 2000, they attended North Central Michigan College. Finally, from 2012 to 2014, they earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and Management, General from the University of Phoenix.
