Yasantha Eleperuma possesses extensive experience in process engineering and management within the mining and minerals processing sectors. Currently serving as the Manager of Processing Expansion at Covalent Lithium Pty Ltd since June 2019, Yasantha leads engineering and design for brownfield projects and interfaces between project and operations teams. Previous roles include Operations Readiness & Commissioning Manager, Engineering Manager, and Processing Manager at Galaxy Resources, where significant improvements in throughput and plant run-time were achieved. Earlier experience includes positions at Fortescue Metals Group and Anglo American, focusing on metallurgical operations, safety cultures, and production optimizations. Yasantha's career began after earning a Bachelor of Engineering in Minerals Process Engineering and a Bachelor of Business Management in Marketing from The University of Queensland.
