Ashley Barnett has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Ashley started their career as an intern at Ingersoll Rand in 2010, where they worked in global marketing and product management. Ashley then moved on to the Louise Wells Cameron Art Museum, where they served as a Museum Shop and Facility Rentals Assistant from 2009 to 2010.
Following that, Ashley joined Lots Road Auctions in 2012, working initially in the Valuations Department for a few months before transitioning to the role of Marketing and Social Media Manager from 2015 to 2017. During that time, they also had a short stint at Artangel, where they focused on marketing and public relations.
In 2017, Ashley joined Coutts as an Associate Director, serving as the Digital Channels Manager until the end of 2019. Ashley then took on the role of Associate Director and eventually became the Director of Digital Product Lead in May 2021, where they currently work.
Ashley Barnett pursued their education at the University of North Carolina Wilmington from 2007 to 2011, where they earned a Bachelor's degree in Marketing and Art History. Following this, they completed their Master's degree in Contemporary Art and Visual Culture at Richmond, The American International University in London from 2011 to 2012.
