Patrick Okubo is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in the wine industry and leadership roles. Currently serving as a Board Member for the Court of Master Sommeliers, Americas, and the Chair of the Aloha Wine Foundation, Patrick is dedicated to uniting and educating the sommelier community in Hawaii. With over a decade of experience as a Wine Educator at Republic National Distributing Company, Patrick provides education to internal employees, clients, and consumers. Patrick's background includes a distinguished military career as a Team Leader in the Army National Guard for 21 years, and significant hospitality experience as a Managing Partner at Formaggio Grill and Food and Beverage Manager/Wine Director at Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts. Patrick holds a Master’s Degree in Organizational Change and Development from Hawaii Pacific University and a Bachelor’s Degree in Travel Industry Management from the University of Hawaii at Manoa.
