Nicole L. Amaral is an accomplished professional in economic mobility and skills development, currently serving as an Economic Mobility Fellow at The Aspen Institute since March 2024. With extensive experience in various roles at Coursera since November 2020, including Senior Manager and Principal of Skills Transformation, Nicole has played a crucial role in advancing skills transformation initiatives. Prior to Coursera, significant contributions were made at the Inter-American Development Bank as a Senior Associate focusing on labor markets and employability from March 2015 to November 2020. Previous positions also include specialized roles at the World Bank Group, ICF International, and co-founding Casa Bellavista Hostel.
