Alex Margos is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in program management and project-based learning, currently serving as Senior Manager of Program Management at Coursera since July 2018. Notably, Alex founded Coursera for Africa, which aims to enhance educational access in the region. With a track record of defining production strategies that significantly increased capacity and enhancing B2C deal structures, Alex has also successfully managed key partnerships with industry giants like Google, IBM, and AWS. Prior to Coursera, Alex held various roles at Citi, including Assistant Vice President where a substantial portfolio of Fortune 100 tech clients was managed, as well as contributing to strategic planning and operational enhancements. Academic credentials include a Master's degree in Engineering Management from Duke University and dual Master's degrees in Civil Engineering from Université libre de Bruxelles.
