Jordan Gilliland is an accomplished technology leader with extensive experience in search quality and machine learning. Currently serving as Director II of Search Quality at Coupang since January 2020, Jordan oversees key teams responsible for search ranking and retrieval in one of the world’s largest e-commerce platforms. Prior roles include significant positions at Amazon, where responsibilities encompassed leading local search technologies and improvements to mobile shopping applications, and at Caspar.ai, focusing on product localization and analytics. Experience at Google included leadership in cross-language information retrieval projects, while earlier career highlights featured roles as CEO and CTO of PX Interactive, where Jordan developed critical gaming middleware. Jordan earned both a Master’s and a Bachelor's Degree from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology in Computer Science and Electrical Engineering, and Brain and Cognitive Science, respectively.
