Mark Sobota is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in customer value management and procurement. Currently serving as Vice President of Customer Value Management at Coupa Software since August 2019, Mark leads teams to maximize value for enterprise customers in business spend management. Prior to Coupa, Mark held the position of Account Executive and Operations Lead at Accenture, where significant achievements included managing global BPO programs for Fortune 500 clients. Mark's earlier roles encompass Clinical Capital Sourcing Manager at UPMC, Sourcing Manager at Alcoa, Project Manager at Ariba, and Architectural Designer at L. Robert Kimball & Associates. Mark's professional journey began as a Telecommunications Specialist in the U.S. Army. Mark holds a Master’s degree in Project Management from The George Washington University School of Business, a Bachelor’s degree in Business from Point Park University, and an Associate’s degree in Architectural Design from Triangle Technical Institute.
