Daniel Schmitz currently serves as Vice President of Customer Value Management at Coupa Software, where responsibilities extend to overseeing customer engagement initiatives since February 2020. Previously, Daniel held the position of Director of Global Procurement Processes, Methods, Tools, and Academy at Benteler Automotive from March 2018 to February 2020, focusing on enhancing global purchasing processes and methodologies. Earlier experience includes managing key accounts in IT projects related to eProcurement at WALLMEDIEN AG from January 2012 to March 2018 and serving as Technical Director at Technovideo Deutschland from February 2007 to February 2012. Daniel's educational background includes an MBA with a focus on Finance from the Austrian Institute of Management and a Master of Science in IT Management and Information Systems from Fachhochschule der Wirtschaft Paderborn, along with a Bachelor of Applied Science in Applied Computer Science from FHDW Paderborn.
