Omer Elfarouk Mohammed is a Network Engineer currently serving as an IS Communications Specialist II for the County of San Mateo since July 2022. Prior to this role, Omer worked as a Sr. Network & Terminals Engineer at The Group Securities from December 2020 to July 2021, managing technical projects and overseeing the installation, configuration, and troubleshooting of security and network equipment. Omer's earlier experience includes a tenure at the Communications Regulatory Authority from March 2012 to December 2020, where responsibilities included managing network operations and maintaining high performance through monitoring and analysis. Omer holds a Master of Science in Telecom and Computer Networking from California State University, Los Angeles, and a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering (Telecom & Electronics) from the University of Khartoum.
