Rene Anchieta is an experienced Geographic Information Systems Coordinator and GIS Analyst with over 16 years of service at the County of San Benito, where responsibilities include budget management, development of GIS guidelines, and design of ESRI ArcServer applications. Additional experience includes work as a GIS/Remote Sensing Contractor at USDA-ARS, and as a GIS Volunteer at The Nature Conservancy, contributing to environmental GIS projects and data analysis. Earlier roles involved remote sensing and satellite data processing at the Physical Science Laboratory/White Sands Missile Range. Rene Anchieta holds a Master’s Degree and a Bachelor’s Degree in Geography from New Mexico State University.
