Rachel Stevenson is an experienced librarian and event manager with a diverse background in library services and event planning. Currently serving as Librarian I at the County of Erie since April 2016, Rachel specializes in community programming, grant writing, and topics pertinent to adult education. Previously, as Manager of Special Events at Hartwick College, Rachel led major events and developed communication standards for campus activities. Rachel's interim role as Director of Conference and Event Services at Clarion University saw a successful increase in business revenue. Rachel's early career included a Library Assistant position at the University of Pittsburgh, focusing on event planning and promoting information literacy. Educational credentials include a Master of Arts in Arts Administration from Goucher College, an MLIS from the University of Pittsburgh, and a BS in Marketing and Business Communication from Marietta College.
